Culture Week: Commemorating the Heart of the United Nations
Every 24th October, the United Nations Day is celebrated to appreciate the cultures, religions, and languages worldwide. Here in Kipina Kids Villa, Kemang, we instill the same values of diversity, peace, and unity between and among nations. The children and parents actively participated in this festive yet meaningful celebration. Children went “around the world” and visited three continents, Asia, Europe, and Africa. They were immersed in some countries’ cultures, traditions, food, and arts. They made traditional snacks from Korea and Scotland and created arts and crafts popular in the three continents mentioned. To wrap up the week, our students and parents had a joyful picnic, sharing food from countries all over the world.
