Early Childhood Education settings are ideal for encouraging children’s interest in animals as well as connections to and involvement with the living world around us.The interactions and hands-on experiences that children have with animals promote kindness and respect towards all living creatures, and allow for an exciting pathway into learning about the environment and the big, wide world around us. Each experience solidifies learning and supports important academic concepts.
A field trip is one of the most effective tools we have for providing real-world experiences to all of our students. Students are able to access tools and environments that are not available at school. This time we were visiting the Jakarta Aquarium. We take students to see an underwater ecosystem at an aquarium. We were observing many kinds of fish and animals. It was so much fun. We enjoyed the activities with friends and teachers.
