At Kipinä Kelapa Gading, our recent UN Celebration was a joyful gathering that immersed our young learners in a world of diversity, unity, and exploration. Designed to introduce children to different cultures in a hands-on, meaningful way, the event featured sensory and literacy activities that captivated their natural curiosity and encouraged cross-cultural understanding.
In our sensory stations, children were encouraged to explore the textures, colors, and sounds unique to various parts of the world. They sifted through sand reminiscent of far-off deserts, felt fabrics from diverse regions, and explored the sounds of musical instruments from different cultures. These hands-on experiences not only stimulated their senses but also created an early awareness of the world’s many wonders.
