Kindergarten Students Have Fun Making Bento Lunch Boxes with Aunty Pauline!

Created : 1 March 2025

In a fun and exciting cooking class, Kindergarten 1 students learned how to make their own bento lunch boxes with the help of Aunty Pauline, a local cooking expert. The children had a blast decorating their bento boxes with colorful rice, vegetables, and little snacks. Aunty Pauline showed them how to make the food fun and easy to eat, teaching them about healthy ingredients along the way. The kids loved using their hands to create different shapes, like smiley faces and animal shapes, making the class both creative and tasty.

Parents were invited to join in the class, and it was heartwarming to see how much the children enjoyed cooking with their families. Aunty Pauline’s friend, Aunty Pauline’s close friend and the mom of one of the students, was excited to see her child so involved. “It’s amazing to see my child excited about food and learning to make something they can eat later,” she shared with a smile. The activity gave both the kids and their parents a fun experience they could remember and recreate at home.

By the end of the class, the little chefs proudly took home their bento boxes, ready to enjoy their delicious creations. Aunty Pauline’s class not only taught them how to cook, but also helped them understand the importance of eating healthy foods. With lots of smiles and full bellies, the children left excited to try cooking again with their families, making it a wonderful and educational day for everyone!
