The Nursery 1 class recently participated in a Mandarin assessment led by their dedicated teacher, Laoshi. The young learners, filled with excitement and curiosity, were introduced to basic Mandarin vocabulary, including numbers, greetings, and simple phrases. The assessment was designed to assess the children’s understanding and ability to recall what they had learned throughout the term. Laoshi’s patient and encouraging approach helped the children feel comfortable and confident as they practiced speaking Mandarin in a fun and engaging way.

Throughout the assessment, Laoshi used various interactive methods such as songs, flashcards, and games to keep the children engaged while evaluating their progress. The children were asked to identify characters, repeat words, and even answer simple questions in Mandarin.
