Our nursery children recently enjoyed a fun and creative land transportation-themed activity where they built their own miniature roads using playdough, small rocks, and pinecones. They rolled out playdough to form roads, added rocks for sidewalks, and used pinecones and leaves to decorate the scene with tiny trees and bushes.
This hands-on activity was not only exciting but also helped develop fine motor skills, creativity, and early understanding of how roads and transportation work. As they played with toy cars on their handmade roads, children practiced sharing, storytelling, and teamwork. It was a joyful, imaginative experience that brought learning to life through play!
