Our Kids Have Fun Learning Numbers by Counting Apples on the Tree

Created on 1 September 2025

The N2 class had a joyful and educational time as they practiced early numeracy skills through a creative counting activity—placing apples on a tree. This hands-on lesson helped the children understand numbers, counting, and quantity recognition in an interactive and fun way.

Each child took turns counting apple cutouts and placing them on a paper tree, guided by their teachers. Through this activity, they learned to match numbers with objects and improve their one-to-one correspondence skills. The use of visual aids and movement made it easier for the children to stay focused and excited about learning.

Activities like this support not only cognitive development but also fine motor skills and classroom participation. By turning math into a playful experience, the N2 kids are building a strong foundation in numeracy while enjoying every moment of the process.
