Kipinä Kids Surabaya turned a rainy-day theme into an exciting hands-on learning experience as the children explored raindrops, weather changes, and water movement while wearing their colorful raincoats and umbrellas! 🌂💛 This activity not only brought joy and curiosity but also allowed children to experience weather learning in a fun, safe, and engaging way. With splashes, giggles, and bright rain gear, our learners discovered what rain feels like, how drops fall, and why we use raincoats to stay dry.

During the session, the children participated in interactive learning such as observing “raindrop experiments,” counting falling droplets, and exploring the sound of rain through sensory play. ☔🔍 Teachers guided discussions using simple scientific concepts—such as clouds, water cycles, and weather changes—helping children build early scientific thinking. With umbrellas in hand, they practiced coordination, fine-motor skills, and new vocabulary like raincoat, wet, umbrella, cloudy, and drizzle. 🌧️📚

To complete the activity, children enjoyed a fun “rain walk” simulation, proudly wearing their raincoats while exploring how to stay safe and comfortable during rainy weather. 🌈💦 This experience supported independence, confidence, and real-life learning as children navigated movement, balance, and problem-solving.
