Little Chefs in Action: Kipina Kids Surabaya Enjoy a Banana Strawberry Toast Cooking Class

Kipina Kids Surabaya recently held a fun and engaging cooking class where our students transformed into little chefs while making delicious banana strawberry toast. This hands-on activity was designed to introduce children to simple cooking skills while encouraging independence, creativity, and confidence. The children were excited to prepare their own healthy snacks using fresh and colorful ingredients.

During the cooking class, the students learned step-by-step how to spread, slice, and arrange bananas and strawberries on toast with guidance from their teachers. They also talked about the taste, color, and texture of each ingredient, helping to build vocabulary and sensory awareness. Safety and hygiene were emphasized, with children learning the importance of washing hands and using utensils properly before cooking.

This cooking activity supported the children’s fine motor skills, focus, and ability to follow instructions, while also promoting healthy eating habits from a young age. Through this enjoyable experience, Kipina Kids Surabaya continues to provide meaningful learning through play, allowing children to explore, learn, and grow in a joyful and supportive environment.
