Created On: January, 15th 2026. Our Pink Owls class Kindergarten 1 participated in an engaging and meaningful learning activity through the theme Community Helpers, with a special focus on doctors and healthcare professionals. This hands-on experience allowed children to explore real-life roles while developing important social and cognitive skills.
During the activity, children took part in doctor role play, using medical props such as stethoscopes, medical kits, and dolls as patients. They practiced checking heartbeats, identifying body parts, and providing gentle care, encouraging empathy and responsibility toward others.
The role-play session supported children’s language development, as they communicated with friends, followed simple instructions, and used new vocabulary related to health and the human body. It also strengthened their social skills, including turn-taking, cooperation, and confidence in expressing ideas.
Through guided play and exploration, the Pink Owls were able to connect classroom learning with real-life experiences. This activity helped children gain a deeper understanding of how community helpers support and care for others, while fostering kindness and appreciation for people around them.
