Created On: January, 15th 2026. The Sensory Fox Baby Class enjoyed a gentle and engaging sensory play activity with the theme Veterinarian (Vet). Through this activity, babies were introduced to the concept of caring for animals in a fun, safe, and age-appropriate way.

During the session, the babies explored a cleaning animals activity, where they used soft sponges, cloths, and water to gently clean toy animals. This hands-on experience allowed them to touch, feel, and interact with different textures while developing their sensory awareness.
The activity supported babies’ fine motor skills as they grasped and squeezed sponges, as well as their hand–eye coordination through simple, guided movements. Teachers provided close support and verbal cues, helping babies feel comfortable and confident throughout the activity.
This sensory play also introduced early values of care, kindness, and responsibility, as babies learned that animals need gentle handling and attention. Through calm exploration and repetition, babies were able to enjoy meaningful learning moments in a nurturing environment.
At Kipinä Kids, we believe that sensory-based learning plays an important role in early development, supporting curiosity, exploration, and joyful learning from the very beginning.
