Created On: March 15th 2026. At Kipina Kids Kelapa Gading 1, learning goes beyond the classroom. We believe that education is not only about developing academic skills, but also about nurturing empathy, kindness, and social responsibility. One of the meaningful activities that reflects these values is our Community Sharing Program, which took place after the completion of our Kidspreneur project.
Through the Kidspreneur program, students learn the basics of entrepreneurship such as creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and confidence in presenting their ideas. The program allows children to experience how to create simple products, understand the value of effort, and learn how businesses work in a fun and engaging way. However, the learning journey does not stop at selling their creations. The most important lesson comes afterward—learning how to give back to the community.
After the Kidspreneur event was completed, Kipina Kids students together with their parents participated in a community sharing initiative by collecting funds. The funds gathered were then used to prepare basic food packages (sembako) which were distributed to members of the surrounding community who could benefit from additional support. This activity was a beautiful moment where children were able to see the real impact of kindness and generosity.
During the distribution process, students were introduced to the idea that even small acts of sharing can bring happiness to others. They learned that success is not only measured by how much we gain, but also by how much we are willing to share with those around us. With guidance from teachers and support from parents, the children experienced firsthand what it means to show empathy and compassion.
This activity also strengthens the connection between the school, families, and the wider community. Parents played an important role in guiding their children to understand the value of helping others. By involving families in this initiative, the message of kindness becomes stronger and more meaningful for the children.
The Community Sharing Program provides many valuable benefits for the students. It helps develop empathy and emotional intelligence, encouraging children to understand and care about the needs of others. It also nurtures a sense of gratitude, as children learn to appreciate what they have. Additionally, the activity builds social awareness and responsibility from an early age, shaping children into individuals who are not only confident and creative but also compassionate and thoughtful toward their community.
At Kipina Kids Kelapa Gading 1, we believe that building character is just as important as developing knowledge and skills. Through activities like Kidspreneur and Community Sharing, our students learn that success and kindness can go hand in hand. We are proud to see our young learners grow into individuals who not only dream big but also care deeply for others.
