In the Nursery 1 class, children recently participated in a special focus instruction session where they engaged in one-on-one learning assessments with their teachers. These personalized sessions aimed to evaluate the children’s progress in core areas of development, specifically focusing on ABCD recognition and understanding. Each child had the opportunity to sit individually with the teacher, creating a calm and supportive space where they could confidently demonstrate their skills without distractions.
During the assessment, teachers used interactive materials such as flashcards, letter puzzles, and storytelling prompts to make the experience engaging and age-appropriate. Children were gently guided to identify letters, match them with corresponding sounds, and even practice basic tracing exercises. This method allowed teachers to observe each child’s unique learning pace, strengths, and areas needing further support while building positive connections with the students.
By the end of the focus instruction sessions, teachers gathered valuable insights into each child’s developmental milestones. This information will be used to tailor future lesson plans, ensuring each child receives the right level of encouragement and challenge in their learning journey.
