This week, the children at Kipinä explored the theme “My School” as part of their early childhood learning journey. The topic helped students become more familiar with their school environment, routines, and the important people who help them every day.

Through storytelling, songs, classroom tours, and role-play activities, the kids learned about different areas of the school such as the library, playground, and classrooms. They also got to meet and talk about the roles of teachers, principals, and other staff, helping them feel more connected and confident in their daily school life.

By learning about My School, the children developed a sense of belonging and responsibility while practicing communication, observation, and social skills. It was a meaningful and enjoyable way to help them feel proud to be part of the Kipinä community.
