Created on 1 April 2026 – In Seals Class, we had a splashing fun time exploring floating and movement!
We made tiny boats using aluminium foil and placed them in water. They floated! Then came the exciting part, we used straws to blow air and off the boats went! The children were so excited to see their boats sailing.
We learned that even though we can’t see air, it can push and move things. Through this activity, we discovered that floating objects can move when air pushes them.
What a fun and windy way to learn!
