At Kipinä Kids Kelapa Gading 2, keeping our children safe is part of everything we do. We also believe that teaching safety begins with helping children understand what to do, why it matters, and how to respond with confidence.
Through our recent fire and earthquake drills, our little learners had the opportunity to practice important safety routines in a calm, supportive, and age-appropriate way. Rather than creating fear, we focused on helping children become familiar with emergency procedures through simple explanations, gentle guidance, and hands-on practice.
With their teachers by their side, the children learned to listen carefully, follow instructions, and move safely together. Every step was thoughtfully guided, taking into consideration their age, readiness, and emotional well-being.
We know that emergencies can be unpredictable, but preparation helps us respond with greater confidence and care. By making safety routines a familiar part of school life, we hope to nurture children who are not only aware of how to protect themselves but also understand the importance of looking out for others.
Because at Kipinä, safety is not just about knowing what to do. It is about helping every child feel safe, supported, and prepared.
