At Kipinä Kids SouthCity, learning goes beyond the classroom! Our little learners recently participated in an earthquake drill to learn how to stay safe and respond calmly during an earthquake.

The children practiced taking shelter under tables to protect themselves, followed by walking slowly and carefully toward the designated assembly point with their teachers. As they made their way out of the school building, they also learned the importance of protecting their heads while evacuating.

Through this hands-on experience, our little learners are developing essential safety awareness, learning to follow instructions, and building confidence in responding to emergency situations.

At Kipinä, we believe that even the smallest steps can make a big difference in helping children become more aware, prepared, and responsible. Because keeping our little explorers safe is always a priority!
