Little Hands, Happy Feet: A Sand Pit Exploration at Kipinä Kids Bogor!

Created on 1 November 2026
Our Squirrels (Kindergarten 2) had a delightful time exploring the sand pit in our outdoor playground! With their shoes off, the children were invited to enjoy the feeling of sand beneath their bare feet as they scooped, poured, dug, and built using a variety of sand tools and toys. Their little hands were busy filling buckets, moving sand from one place to another, and discovering the many ways they could play with various materials. Through this hands-on experience, the children strengthened their fine motor skills and developed hand-eye coordination. Feeling the sand beneath their feet also provided valuable sensory stimulation, helping them become more aware of different textures and sensations. As they shared tools, exchanged ideas, and played alongside their friends, they also practised communication, cooperation, and social skills. Most importantly, this joyful outdoor experience encouraged curiosity, creativity, independence, and a love for learning through play. What a wonderful way for our little Squirrels to learn, explore, and create happy memories together at Kipinä Kids Bogor.
