Created on 30 December 2025, At Kipina Kids Bali, our Nursery 1 students, lovingly known as the Bears Class, are taking their very first steps into the world of literacy. At just 2 to 3 years old, these young learners are naturally curious, enthusiastic, and eager to explore language in meaningful ways.

Literacy learning in the Bears Class is designed to be gentle, playful, and age-appropriate. Rather than focusing on formal reading, children are introduced to letters and sounds through everyday experiences that feel fun and engaging. This approach helps build confidence and encourages a positive relationship with learning from an early age.

Throughout the week, students explore the alphabet from A to Z through songs, stories, games, and hands-on activities. They listen to alphabet songs, enjoy storytime with colorful picture books, and interact with letter cards and objects that help them connect sounds to symbols. These activities support early language development while keeping children actively involved and happy.

Learning through play is at the heart of our Nursery program. Our teachers create a warm and supportive environment where each child is encouraged to participate at their own pace. Whether children are repeating letter sounds, pointing to familiar letters in books, or naming pictures they recognize, every small achievement is celebrated.

Most importantly, our goal is to nurture a love for books and language. By making literacy enjoyable and stress-free, the Bears Class develops a strong foundation that will support future reading and learning. We are proud to watch our Nursery 1 students grow in confidence as they discover letters, sounds, and the joy of learning together.
