During Fun Week at Kipina Bogor, the Owls (Kindergarten 1) children took part in a creative Little Artist Day activity. Before beginning their artwork, the children were introduced to famous artists from around the world, such as Leonardo da Vinci and Vincent van Gogh, and learned about their contributions to the art world. Afterward, the children created their own leaf-resist painting, using sponges to stamp colorful paint onto a large sheet of manila paper that had been decorated with various leaf shapes. As the paint covered the paper, the leaf patterns appeared, creating a unique and beautiful artwork. Through this activity, the children developed creativity, imagination, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and color recognition. They also practiced self-expression, observation skills, and appreciation for art while enjoying a fun and meaningful artistic experience.
