Our preschoolers had a wonderful time exploring a sensory pathway activity designed to engage their senses through hands-on play and movement. The children walked barefoot across a variety of textures, including smooth pebbles, soft materials, bumpy surfaces, and textured mats.
This activity encouraged children to feel, observe, balance, and explore at their own pace. It also supported important developmental skills such as sensory awareness, gross motor coordination, balance, body awareness, and confidence.
Through simple yet meaningful experiences like this, children learn that discovering the world can be both fun and exciting!
