Stories have a special way of opening little hearts and minds to new ideas, characters, places, and possibilities. Throughout the week, our young learners explored stories through engaging experiences such as gallery walks, puppet storytelling, and show and tell, bringing characters and storylines to life in meaningful ways.
One of the most special parts of this celebration was seeing our school community come together to transform our classrooms into storybook worlds. Our wonderful parents showed tremendous creativity, cooperation, and dedication as they decorated their children’s classroom doors and windows based on the storybook represented by each class. This meaningful collaboration also reflected an important part of our Kipina community and that is when families and school work together, children experience learning something that is shared, joyful, and meaningful
