“The World of Eric Carle” was the theme of this year’s Literature Week.
Our teachers at Kipina Surabaya brought the story The Very Lonely Firefly to life through an engaging storytelling and acting performance. Throughout the celebration, the children explored different ways of appreciating literature through storytelling, role-playing, songs, puppetry, and art.

Beyond expanding their vocabulary, the children learned about the different parts of a book, the role of an author, and how they can use their creativity and imagination to create stories of their own.

Literature Week was a wonderful opportunity to nurture the children’s love for reading while encouraging creativity, self-expression, and imagination.
